Ms Grace Kwok represented AEC and joined the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) 2017 Hong Kong Kick-off Ceremony organized by Green Council at Ma On Shan Plaza on 9 September 2017. AEC is one of the sponsoring organizations of the ICC 2017 Hong Kong, and will support this campaign and take part in a beach cleanup activity during the official ICC period, which will be from 16 September 2017 to 26 November 2017.

Initiated by Ocean Conservancy, the International Coastal Cleanup aims to engage citizens to remove trash and debris from beaches and waterways all around the world, identify the sources of debris, and change the behavioral patterns that contribute to pollution. Green Council is the official Hong Kong and Macau coordinator for this year’s global campaign.
